Description
Color: Deep brown colour, encircled with yellow whole or half bands.

Eyes are of moderate size, placed abut midway between angle of mouth and end of the snout. Gill -opening is small, scarcely so large as the eye. Teeth are rounded crowns and the form change considerably with the age. Dorsal fin of the fish is rudimentay , commencing a little behind the vertical from the branchial opening.
