Description
Slender, submerged, monoecious aquatic herbs; stems much-branched, rootless. Leaves 1-2.5 cm long, 7-10 in whorls from each solitary, axillary, subsessile. Fruits ellipsoid, compressed with a spinescent style at apex and 2 lateral spines at base.
