Description
Erect or decumbent herbs; stems glabrescent, nodal hairs absent. Leaves spirally arranged or opposite , obovate or spathulate, obtuse or retuse at apex, narrowed at base. Flowers 1-1.5cm across, yellow in terminal clusters, enveloped an involucre of cauline leaves. Capsules 5-8 mm across, ovoid, dehiscing above base; seeds many, reniform.
