Description
Size: Shell upto 25 mm in length

Color: Grayish brown; interior of aperture, columella and outer lip white.

Shell small, thick,whorls 12 to 13, sutures distinct, traversed by a thread. Aperture elongate ovate, outer lip and inner lip meet posteriorly at a point beyond the shell plane, siphonal sinus hollow and short; outer lip reflects over the sinus; sculptured with rounded, rectangular, close-set axial nodules; three on each whorl; on the body whorl the nodules coalesce together forming broad flattened raised interspaces separated by shallow grooves.
