Description
Size: 50 mm

Color: Brown to dark bluish brown with round to oblong spots on head, body and tail. Fins brown to dark brown. Grey spots on dorsal and anal.

Upper profile from origin of dorsal to tip of snout slightly convex. Depth 1.5, head 1.7 in standard length. Eye 3.4 in head and 1.6 in snout, almost equal to interorbital. Mouth terminal. Teeth uneven and notched. A deep groove before eye. Gill opening almost vertical; no enlarged scales or bony plates behind gill opening. origin of the first dorsal above gill opening. Anterior side of first dorsal spine with spinules. Caudal rounded in young, lobes produced in large specimens. Scales on head and body rough
