Size: 19 cm - 120 cm

Color: Body orange red with numerous small dark edged blue spots on head and body; the spots on fins small and present only basally on pectoral; orbit narrowly rimmed in blue; posterior margin of caudal fin narrowly white.

Body depth slightly less than head length, 3.33 in standard length, 4.23 in length with caudal. Head 3.1, 3.8-3.9 in length with caudal. Eye 7.0 in head length. Maxillary reaching to posterior border of orbit. Longitudinal scale series on the lateral side of the body 124. Pectoral fin 1.95; ventral fin 2.1 in head length. Outer margin of anal fin from fourth to eighth soft rays straight to slightly rounded; caudal fin emarginate.
