Description
Size: 18 cm

Glossy steel blue or purplish blue above, pale pinkish white below. Chestnut forehead and throat, the latter bordered by a broad glossy black pectoral band. Deeply forked 'swallow' tail, especially prominent in flight. Sexes alike.

Nesting: Season- April to July. Eggs- 4 or 5, similar in color and markings to those of the Crag Martin.
