Test involute, low trochospiral, asymmetrical, somewhat compressed; dorsally convex; chambers 10 (without elongated lobe on ventral side as seen in Nonionella); early chambers slightly inflated and curved backward; sutures slightly depressed, curved; umbilicus depressed; periphery slightly lobulate; surface smooth, but for umbilical region; aperture a broad low interiomarginal slit, extended to the umbilicus; wall calcareous, finely perforate.
