Description
Color: Pink-purple

Thalli crustaceous, firmly adherent to substrata, tightly overlapping one another, up to 1 mm thick, each composed of one layer of rectangular cells with rounded corners, varying considerably in size 16-32 (-60) µm long, 13-23 µm diameter, cover cells triangular, 7-13 µm diameter, 4-6 µm high, fusion between neighbor cells often seen. Tetrasporangial conceptacles hemispherical to conical, 450-600 µm inside diameter, uniporic.
