Size: Max length 11.0 cm TL (male)

Color: The crest is lined with a black furrow which is extended towards the mantle edge into thinner line anteriorly and posteriorly. The mantle is white, with salmon pink rhinophores.

The body is not dorsoventrally flattened. Each rhinophoral clavus has 17-20 lamellae.

Similar species: Phyllidiopsis krempfi, Phyllidiopsis pipeki, Phyllidiopsis burni, Phyllidiopsis gemmata and Phyllidiopsis fissuratus.
