Description
Color: Shell is whitish or horny brown with faint radial rows of yellowish brown spots.

Shell is slightly larger, thicker and solid. It is about as high as long with the umbo bent strongly forward. Sculpture consists of very strong, thick raised and rather widely spaced concentric lamella which are inclined towards the umbo in adult; concentric lamella angled near the posterior margin and turned sharply upwards; interstices between these lamella are deeply excavated and smooth. Margin of inner surface is minutely denticulated.
