Description
Slender, twining herbs; stems terets, much-branched, glabrous. Leaves elliptic-oblong or lanceolate, glabrous, acute or acuminate at apex, cuneate or obtuse at base; petioles slender, 8-12 mm long. Flowers 2-3 mm long, scarlet, in axillary or terminal, repeatedly forked panicles; corona-scales knob-shaped; peduncles 3-8 cm long; pedicels 5-8 mm long, filiform. Follicles 7-10 cm long, divaricate, lanceolate, narrowly pointed at apex. seeds many, Silky-comose.
