Erect or ascending, glabrous herbs; stems quadrangular, sulcate, much-branched from the base. Leaves petiolate, elliptic-ovate or oblong, thick, acute at apex, attenuate at base.Flowers 2-3 mm long, white, in axillary or terminal paniculate cymes; pedicels 2-12 mm long. Fruits 2-3 mm across, turbinate, ferunculate, not winged.
