Much-branched, diffuse, puberlo-grandular herbs; stems up to 50 cm tall, angular. Leaves whorls of 3-8 linear or lanceolate, acute at apex, tapering at base; petioles obscure. Flowers 5-6 mm long, white, in axillary, scorpioid dichasial cymes; rachises developing into elongated pseudoracemes. Capsules 4-6 mm across, ellipsoid; seeds reniform, golden-yellow, not granulated along margins.
