Description
Size: Cell length 215 µ and Breadth 6-8 µ.

Cells are slender and long, united into a star or fan-shaped colonies by valve surfaces of wedge-shaped point; cells very linear, basal part slightly wedge-shaped, but pointed; valve surface and mantle delicately striated; pseudoraphe very faint, chromatophores numerous small rounded bodies.
