Description
Size: 20-40 mm. by 1-3 mm.

Color: Yellowish, with brown-reddish spots on the anterior region and tentacles.

Slender body, divided into three regions. Two eyes. Two long palps anteriorly and two small posterior tentacles. Middle region 5-28 segments fitted with biramous feet. Anterior region 10-18 and more segments. Posterior region, numerous segments. On the fourth setigerous segments a single large modified spine, obliquely truncate at the tip. Rami of the posterior region with one, rarely two, lanceolate setae. Horny tubes ringed, simple or branched.
