Description
Color: Blue green

Thalli solitary or aggregate. Trichomes without any sheath, 6-9 µm in diameter. Cells 3-6.5 µm in length, barrel shaped, torulose, distinctly constricted, usually with gas vacuoles. Heterocysts spherical or oval, 6-12.5 µm diameter, 8-10 µm in length.
