Description
Size: 6-17 mm (male); 5-13 mm (female).

Color: Mottled maroon with mosaic pattern of the rugae on the carapace and chelipeds; mottled violet to blue. The ground color of the ambulatory legs blue, with rugae either violet or pink or maroon depending on the color of the carapace and chelipeds.
