Shell is conical in shape; the surface is rough with with strongly raised spiral ridges of small tubercle which are spread transversely.Spire is pointed ; deeply excavated short anterior canal and an ill developed posterior canal present. callus formation both on outer and inner lips. body whorl of the shell contains 6spiral rows of tubercles; other whorls of the shell contain 3 rows
