Color: Yellow brown

Thallus bushy, in entangled clumps; Thalli narrow linear, membranaceous, stupose, dichotomously branched 3-4 times, upper segment much twisted and densely intricate with each other, attaining a height of 8-10 cm or more. The segments linear, about 1-1.5 mm broad below, 0.2-0.5 mm broad above, margins entire, surfaces of the Thalli smooth. Branching axils narrow without proliferations, ultimate segments very short, usually forked, ending in blunt apices. Medulla cells in one layer, rectangular, arranged in rows.
