Color: Dark green

Thalli about 20 cm in diameter, 1.5-3 mm diameter, procumbent, usually forming extensive colonies, irregularly to dichotomously branched. Branches terete or slightly flattened, about 3 mm in diameter. Utricles cylindrical, 500-750 µm long, 83-160 µm broad, their apices rounded or slightly flattened. Hairs or scars common. Vesicles clavate with rounded apex. Gametangia 1-2 borne on each fertile utricle, pedicellate, ovoid to stoutly fusiform, 265-274 µm, 66-108 µm diameter.
