Size: Length 8.82-15.18 mm; diameter 6.15-10.15 mm; length of aperture 4.50-8.10 mm; length of spire 4.95-7.60 mm.

Color: Light brown, aperture light pink internally.

Shell small, fusiform, spire elevated, acute, consists of 4-5 subangulate whorls, ribbed, suture wavy, body whorl large, globose. Aperture ovate, anal sulcus shallow, outer lip erect, interior denticulate, 5 denticles present, inner lip partly detached anteriorly, smooth, with 2-3 faint pustules above the canal, canal short, open, umbilicus prominent. Axial sculpture consists of 5 prominent ribs on body whorl and 6 on penultimate whorl, spiral sculpture with broad cords.
