Size: Length 23.36-31.50 mm; height 3.86-4.80 mm

The shells resemble those of the genus Neosolen in having deep groove behind anterior margin, but differ from it in being more elongate and having elongate anterior adductor muscle. In shape it agrees with Solen kempi but the shell differs in being thin and fragile, and in having a groove behind anterior margin.
