Description
Size: Length 33.32 mm; height 21.80 mm
This species resembles Mactra plicataria in having compressed valves, but differs in not having concentric plications throughout surface of the shell and shape more transversely elongate. This species resembles Mactra laevis in its shape and sculpture, but differs from it in having less inflated, thin and fragile valves, pallial sinus not ascending.
