Description
Size: Length 6.85-8.55 mm; height 3.70-4.85 mm; thickness 2.68-3.70 mm

Color: White

Shell elongately oblique, polished, anterior margin rounded, posterior margin produced into a beak, more inflated in anterior part, dorsal margin angulate, faint umbonal keel runs from umbo to postero-ventral margin, strongly sculptured with concentric ribs, interior smooth, not nacreous, hinge with rows of fine oblique teeth on either side of chondrophore, each row consists of twenty in number, a characteristic feature of this species.
