Size: Length 4.21-19.25 mm; diameter 4.65-18.3 mm; height of spire 29.3-11.9 mm.

Color: Creamy white with dark brown blotches on ridges.

Shell can be distinguished by the presence of prominent carinate ridges on whorls, three on spiral whorls and eight on body whorl, first four well spaced, rest close at base, beaded appearance, interspersed with scaly striations; aperture ovate; interior lirate, iredescent.
