Color: Colony bright brown, axis dark brown and spicules colorless

Colony subflabellate and branched in one plane; branches divide dichotomously, one of the resultant branchlet often longer than the other, never fuse; diameter 1.5 to 2 mm; stalk 2 to 2.5 mm in diameter. Calyces globular, height 0.5 mm and diameter 1 mm; arranged on all sides with preference to lateral sides; polyps retractile.
Spicules: 1. Warty spindles. Short, stout and tuberculated; one end broader than the other; size 0.38 x 0.16 mm. 2. Smaller spindles. 3. Crosses.
