Description
Size: Length 3.4 mm.

Carapace as long as broad, with projecting frontal plates. Posteromedian lobe slightly broader than lateral lobes and projecting slightly beyond them. Genital segment very large, longer than broad and only slightly narrower than carapace, resembling a short-necked round-bottomed flask, abdomen long, 1-segmented and swollen, slightly shorter than genital segment. Distal exopod segment of leg 1 with 3 very small ventral setae. Basal segment of endopod of leg 2 with a crest of spines, spines on exopod with broad serrate wings. Leg 4 4-segmented, with subequal claws.

Parasitic in the branchial cavity of fishes (Sphyraena jello and Sphyraena obtusata).
