Color: greyish body.

Head and second anal spine length are 28 to 31 per cent and 13 to 15 per cent of standard length. Gas bladder is rounded anteriorly with 18 to 19 arborescent tubules, of which first tubules is short. Sagitta is thick with distinct anterior and posterior depression. Five mental pores are present. A pair of minute mental barbels are situated on lower jaw. Lower jaw teeth are differentiated. Spinous dorsal is black.
