Color: Light pinkish red

Thalli with fine capillary filaments, 2-4 cm in height. Basal portion creeping on the substratum with rhizoids supporting rhizoids. The branches and ramuli dichotomous and fastigated, the apices forcipated, strongly rolled inwards, outside edge of the apex dentate, corticated at the nodes, 3-4 transverse cell-rows.

Tetrasporangia on the lateral branchlets, in a whorl around nodes, spherical or ovate 50-65 ┬Ám in diameter, tetrahedrally divided or cruciate. Spermatangia forming on the nodes. Cystocarps borne terminally on branches, surrounded by 2-3 involucral ramuli.
