Size: 2.34 mm (female) - 3.12 mm (male).

Platybranchiate sphaeromatid with body deeply vaulted, not depressed. Cephalosome not set posteriorly into first pereonlte. Coxal plates of pereonites 2-7 separated from tergltes by suture. All coxal plates directed ventrally, not expanded. Pleonal tergite with two minute, posteriorly placed incisions. Lateral margins of pleonal tergite entire, unbroken by sutures or incisions. Pleotelson with rounded apex lacking groove, notch or projection. Both uropodal rami unreduced and separate. Pereopods all ambulatory, increasing in size posteriorly. Penes separate to base. All pleopodal raml lacking complete articulations. Mouthparts of ovigerous female unmetamorphosed. Marsupial lamellae absent, brood carried in pouch formed by two opposing ventral pockets.
