Description
Size: Upto 3.5 cm high, 6 mm broad

Plants tapering to 2 mm at base, attached by a disc; base tubular gradually expanding above, apex with two marginal horn like prolongations. Cells in surface view 10-16.65 μm in diameter, polygonal, corners round, 2 rows of cells fused to form a two layered structure except at the margin. In section thallus 25-29.5 μm thick, cell 20 μm long, 10-13.32 μm wide, outer cuticle 3.3 μm thick and inner cuticle 1.6-3.3 μm thick. Chloroplast partial, with one pyrenoid.
