Description
Color: Colony coral red when alive; axis white internally and pale brown externally. Dumb-bells transparent and clubs light yellow.

Colonies usually unbranched and whip-like; polyps small. Spicules are dumb-bells, 0.01 x 0.05 mm and clubs.
