Description
Color: Dull brown when alive and pale white when dry; axis dark brown and spicules colorless

Colonies flabellate, stalk robust dividing from main to smaller branches. The main expanse of the colony may be circular, ovate or abovate. Stalk roughly circular or rectangular in cross section. Spicules are of larger spindles, 1.5 x 0.22 mm, bent spindles of operculum, tetraradiate spicules and multiradiates.
