Description
Size: 4-8 ┬Ám in diameter.

Cells enclosed in a thick, gelatinous, hyaline sheath that is usually ellipsoid, oval, or spherical in which the cells are solitary, in two or fours, or larger masses consisting of secondary colonies; cells spherical; cell division in three directions.
