Size: Total length 310-346 µm; max. width 149-151 µm; length of the lorica 158-198 µm; width of the anterior margin 120-130 µm; length of the anterior median spines 60-61 µm; length of the posterior spine 75-87 µm.

Lorica with a stout posterior median spine. Anterior median spines two, longer than the lateral spines, bend outwards, flanked by a ‘V’ shaped sinus. Dorsum with characteristic median longitudinal line, with symmetrically arranged plaques on either side.
