Description
Size: Maximum adult body length 30 mm; tail 17-25 %

Body firm, opaque; transversal musculature absent; head of medium width; hooks not serrated. Fin bridge absent. Anterior fins short, fully rayed, rounded; posterior fins of medium length, fully rayed, rounded. Collarette absent or very short; gut diverticula present. Small eyes with round pigment spot. Seminal vesicles conical; position of seminal vesicles: well separated from posterior fins, touching or close to tail fin. Ovaries short, narrow, reaching to posterior end of anterior fins; ova fairly large. Adhesive papillae and adhesive organs absent. Apical glands absent. Hooks: 9-11; anterior teeth: 2-8; posterior teeth: 12-18.
