Description
Size: Trichomes 14-31 μm in diameter, cells 4-10 μm long.

The apical cell hemispherical, without a thickned end wall, trichomes not tapering at the tips, constricted at the nodes; the cytoplasm with scattered granules but these not concentrated at the end walls.

Epiphyte on other algae and seagrasses.
