Description
Size: Apical axis 12-46 ┬Ám.

Color: Yellow brown.

Chains straight, not twisted. Cells isovalvate; apertures elliptical to hexagonal. Setae arising well inside valve margin having a distinct basal part; point of fusion near chain edge, setae often crossing each other. External part of central process a short tube.
