Size: Length 124 µ; Breadth 104 µ.

Cells short and forms a small chain, valves circular, almost sub-hemispherical, girdles punctated; in valve view, puncta radiating from a small central hyaline area in short irregular lines; in girdle view, puncta on girdle arranged in transverse rows; chromatophores numerous.
