Description
Plants rather erect, 2.0-6.5 cm tall, repeatedly pinnately branched and beset with lateral branchlets about 2.2 mm long. Branches subfastigiate, becoming denuded below, closely distichously branched above, the axes with 7-8 pericentral cells, remaining ecorticate. Determinate branchlets polysiphonous at the base, with segments half as long as broad, incurved, becoming completely monosiphonous in outer divisions, where the cells are one-half longer than broad or more. Stichidia elongate-lanceolate, with 3-4 sporangia in each segment arranged so that they appear as 2 rows in lateral view.
