Size: 9.5-17 µm in diameter, 12-25 µm long.

Colonies small and hemispherical; sheaths thick, lamelose, cells bradly pyriform, ovate, or spherical, the adjacent faces of newly divided cells flattened, endospores numerous and spherical. Found epiphytic on seagrasses.
