Size: Length 50-60 mm

Color: Pale brown

Body oval, flattened. Median tentacle very variable in length. Elytra smooth. Dorsal bristles erect, diverging, spear-like with lateral recurved fangs at the tip which is often enclosed in a sheath. Ventral setae bifurcated with a short limb and a longer one curved, smooth (or toothed in the anterior and posterior feet).
