Shell with ridge from umbo to ventral margin and also a ridge from anterior disc. Auricle well developed. Apophysis blade like, curved; pallets with a series of spaced cones, calcareous portion of the cone funnel shaped, periostracal margin wide, flattened and bell shaped with a central notch on the margin of outer surface.
