Description
Body short with a broad back. Abdomen rounded. Head oval. Snout is blunt. Jaws equal, both with a median suture. Dorsal fin inserted above, slightly ahead of anal with 10-16 rays. Pelvic fin absent. Body covered with fine dermal spines.
