Description
Color: Outer surface is generally pale yellowish or flashy white and bears a bright color pattern or arrow-head shaped markings.

Shell is smooth, glossy and polished, moderately elongated, evenly rounded in front and obliquely truncated behind. Shell has flattened and somewhat faint concentric lines. Hinge teeth are thin and narrow and the tooth in front of the cardinals in the left valve and the hollow in the right are considerably elongated. Lunule is long, narrow and deeply excavated. The area behind the umbo is also deeply sunk. Inside of the shell is white and purplish, glossy with moderately deep pallial sinus, deeply sinuated pallial line and crenulated rim.
