Size (Zooecium): Length 400 µ; breadth 270 µ.

Encrusting with superposed zooecia. Small marginal pores. Widely open orifice not denticulate distally. Spines usually three in numbers, peristome with two to three lateral cusps, one of which may be aviculiferous. Lyrula present. Avicularia of three types: pointed, usually placed disto-laterally directing externally; large spatulate placed lateral to the peristome pointing proximally; and the third one with slightly rounded tip placed lateral or distal to the peristome. Mandible of the long and pointed avicularium setiform. A raised umbo present in few zooecia. Ovicells slightly immersed with extensive ectooecium.
