Description
Zooecia large, produced into a cylindrical, imperforate, peristome, with a more or less everted margin. Frontal shield with large foramina, each surrounded by a short tubular wall, produced unilaterally into a sharp, triangular spike. Operculum weak without basal sclerite. Avicularia and ovicells not formed.
