Color: Deep yellowish or reddish brown marked large white spots below the suture.

Shell large, elongately spindle-shaped; the surface is covered by horny skin, the whorls are slightly inflated and evenly rounded being entirely devoid of angular shoulders; sutures depressed; the whorls of the spire are smooth throughout; the surface of the body whorl is traversed by fine spiral ridges. Aperture is moderately broad strongly narrowed at the posterior extremity. The columella bears a thin callus deposit; outer lip slightly thickened and denticulated within.
