Color: Whitish.

The whorls of the shell are strongly plaited longitudinally. The strong, ridge-like transpiral plaites are markedly bulged out in the middle and regularl spaced there is a well marked spiral sculpture consisting of strong spiral ridges and fine intermediate striae between the principal ridges. The aperture is roundedand the outer lip somewhat expanded. The anterior canal is short.
